When a powerful nor’easter rolled up the Jersey Shore this weekend, one Intermediate East student wasn’t just watching the weather — he was reporting it.
Jason Chee, a well-known weather buff and aspiring storm chaser, headed out with his mom to survey the coastline as winds strengthened and waves pounded the shore. Their timing couldn’t have been better. CBS crews, including veteran reporter Christine Sloan, arrived to cover the storm — and immediately noticed Jason’s passion for meteorology.
